gen.wav is a trans Cuban-Nicaraguan-American singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer rooted in Miami, Florida — an openly transgender man (transmasc), LGBTQ+ Latino artist making Latin R&B and hip-hop in both Spanish and English.

A decade of classical training across piano, cello, violin, and music theory sits beneath a self-taught command of guitar, bass, and production. Drawing on his Cuban and Nicaraguan heritage, gen.wav writes music that refuses to separate cultural identity from personal and political honesty. His work has been featured in Spotify editorial playlists and on COLORS.
